Craftsmanship
OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP COMES IN MANY FORMS.
Whether it is the technological - the knife-edge crease lines down the front wings of the Continental GTC V8 made using a technique called superforming, where 5083 grade aluminium is heated to 500ºC and shaped around a die using air pressure. No other process enables such a complex panel to be created with such crisp sharp lines and without seams or joins.
Or the traditional – the upholstery hide begins with an age-old tanning process that retains the rich, natural aroma of classic Bentley interiors. When it arrives in two-dimensional form, it will be shaped, stitched and worked around the complex multiple curves of seats and armrests. Creating a cocoon of curved yet crisply-defined planes and surfaces that demand the highest standards of skill from our dedicated craftspeople.
